Jr. NORSEMEN LACROSSE (The Official Lacrosse club for NVRHS Demarest)

Program:
The goals of the Jr. Norsemen Youth lacrosse program are to educate the fundamentals of the game,create good sportsmanship, build team commitment and have fun while playing the fastest sport on two feet. We participate in the North Jersey Junior Lacrosse League (www.njlacrosse.com).
Girls:
Grades 3-8 will be participating in educational clinics with a strong emphasis of game fundamentals. With enough girls participating, we can schedule games with other clubs. Get your friends together and join this fun new sport!!!
Boys:
Grades 1 & 2 will be participating in educational clinics with end of year games.
Grades 3/4, 5/6, & 7/8 & will be participating in the North Jersey Junior lacrosse league.
Season:
March 15th through June 15th. Games start late March/early April.
Required Equipment:
Girls: Sticks, Goggles, Mouthpiece
Boys: Sticks, Helments, Gloves, Shoulder Pads, Arm Pads and Mouthpiece.
Registration:
For this coming 2011 season, registration will be online.
Fees:
Girls: $55.00 per player
Boys: 1st & 2nd grade- $55.00 per player
Boys: $180.00 per player – includes full uniform.
$120.00 per player - not requiring new uniform.
NOTE: In addition each player MUST be a registered member of US LACROSSE to participate in games. The membership is $25.00 which includes the necessary insurance and a complimentary year subscription to lacrosse magazine.
